Our platform allows you to configure Motion Notifications and Health Check Alerts as push notifications on your mobile device or via email.
Alerts will be configured on a per camera basis, this can be done in the web or mobile.
Web Portal:
Click the drop-down arrow next to the camera in the timeline and then select edit:
Next you will want to select the Notification Settings menu:
There are several tabs for customization of your notifications:
Events - Analytics represents any type of event that comes from the camera. Custom and Scheduled are events only used with the Camcloud APIs and can be ignored
Cloud AI - Camcloud's AI can be used to notify on specific labels like person or car. You can even customize the alert based on confidence and any operation such as finding a group of people (person > 3). Click the setting cog in the Cloud AI tab to configure this.
Health - Camera Health Checks are crucial to have notifications when a camera is not working
Schedule - You can create your own notification schedules
LPR - License plate recognition alerts. You can create detailed rules to identify plates or even specific attributes such as "black honda". This is effectively a way to create a blacklist.
Certain items are on by default. For example a plug and play camera might setup all events so it will have Analytics turned on. You can simply deselect it here:
If you would like to add or remove emails from the notifications list you can do this from the settings sections of the web portal or your mobile app:
To add/remove emails from the alerts list in the mobile applications you can click the hamburger icon at the top left, go to the settings menu, click on Notification Emails and from here you can delete existing emails or add new ones:
