This setting is accessible from the web and mobile platforms and acts like a global setting for ALL cameras. Note that turning this off will stop ALL motion events from being recorded for all cameras on the account. Which means if you are using cameras set to Motion Recording, you will not record any footage and only be able to use live view.
For Business accounts that are using cameras on Continuous Recording, you will still be recording footage, but you will have no way to see events taking place in the timeline (dark blue motion event lines are removed). It is not recommended that you use this if you are just trying to turn off push and email notifications for motion events.
If you would like to turn off notifications see our article here. Alternatively you can also setup a notification schedule.
Turn off events from individual cameras
If you want to turn events off for individual cameras you have two options:
Turn off events from the camera (recommended)
Ignore events coming into the cloud
Camera events
By default some cameras will setup motion events automatically. If you don't want to events coming from your camera it's best to turn off the setting in the motion detection area. Go to the graph icon on your player and deselect Enabled:

Keep in mind if you setup specific events other than motion on the camera (or you manually setup events of some kind) then you need to turn those off in your camera UI accordingly.
Cloud events
If you just want to temporarily turn off events coming to the cloud you can do that as well. Edit your camera and click the "Camera Events" button to stop all events from coming into the cloud.
